Online Day Treatment Timetable

No matter where you’re based, our treatment supports the whole person – mind and body – for long-term and sustainable recovery.  We understand that no two eating disorders are the same, no two people are the same, so at Orri, no two programmes are the same. Our online treatment supports people at different points in their eating disorder and across different diagnoses, including:

  • Half day sessions run for 4 hours: with clients joining morning sessions from 9:30am – 1.30pm, or afternoon sessions from 1pm – 5:30pm
  • Full day sessions run for 8 hours, from 9:30am until 5:30pm

We include breaks throughout the day and ongoing support between groups and sessions.

All programmes follow a stepped approach, meaning that the duration and intensity of each programme is unique to the individual and evolves with them over time. As you progress in treatment, we gradually reduce the level of support you’re receiving to ease to transition to life in recovery without treatment.

Our platform

Clients access our online treatment through a bespoke platform that supports you with navigating your time online.

With helpful links, resources, and motivational reminders and messages from the team, we’re right beside you no matter the distance.

The only CQC-rated ‘Outstanding’ specialist eating disorder service in the UK

The Care Quality Commission (CQC) is the independent regulator of health and adult social care in England.

In our first full inspection in 2021, Orri was rated ‘Outstanding’ overall, as well as recognised as ‘Outstanding’ in all of the CQC’s five key lines of enquiry: safe, effective, caring, responsive, and well-led.

This means Orri is “performing exceptionally well” to meet the needs of our clients, and this rating puts Orri in the top 1% of all health and social care services in England.

Frequently asked questions about online treatment

Is online treatment as good as in person treatment?

We hear this question a lot, and the answer is yes. Our outcome data demonstrates that Orri’s online treatment is as effective as in person treatment, meaning that you get the very same high quality and specialist support that’s offered in our London clinic. In fact, since launching our online service, we’ve helped hundreds of individuals – across the UK and internationally –take meaningful and sustainable progress in recovery.

What is unique about Orri Online?

The most unique thing about Orri’s online treatment is the fact that you can take Orri with you, wherever you go. By joining online, you can stay present in your day-to-day life and connected with your loved ones, whilst engaging in specialist treatment wherever you are in the world.

It also supports people with developing autonomy in recovery. Online, you’ll prep your own meals (with our support) and be able to translate what you learn online into your home environment immediately.

Can I continue attending my university/school/work?

The short answer is: yes, we would like that. The intention of our online treatment is to keep you connected to your everyday life, so as far as possible, we encourage clients to continue in work or in their studies as long as it supports – and doesn’t undermine – your progress in recovery. Having an online version of our treatment also means that we can come with you and support you whilst you’re at university, working abroad or even on holiday.

Can I attend both in person and online treatment together?

Yes! Orri offers a blend of both online and in person treatment, which can help those who need a bit more flexibility in location, or those who are keen to nurture autonomy in recovery by practicing the skills learnt in the clinic at home.

In Person, Online or a Blend of both

Our treatment meets you where you are, in life and location.
