Nurturing Hope is our free collective healing space led by Orri clinicians, exploring eating disorder recovery around a central and relevant theme. In February, we’re exploring the theme of “Relationships, Intimacy and Needs”.
February is traditionally a time to celebrate love and connection, but for those in recovery from eating disorders, relationships can bring unique challenges. Our theme, “Relationships, Intimacy and Needs,” delves into how eating disorders affect our closest relationships and how recovery can foster deeper intimacy, improved self-worth, and healthier emotional connections.
Through this session, we will explore the importance of self-love and kindness as the foundation for nurturing relationships with others. We’ll explore how prioritising your recovery can lead to improved intimacy and emotional connection, and discover practical strategies for rebuilding relationships that have been impacted by an eating disorder.
Join us as we reflect on how recovery opens the door to stronger, more fulfilling connections with loved ones and ourselves.
