January often brings reflection and pressure to change. For those living with an eating disorder, this can heighten self-scrutiny and lead to feelings of being stuck, caught between wanting things to be different and not knowing how to begin.
In this Nurturing Hope session, The Art of Getting Unstuck, our clinicians will gently explore what it can mean to feel stuck in recovery, and why this is a common and meaningful part of the process. We’ll look at questions like “How did I end up here?” with compassion rather than blame, helping to understand how eating disorders can develop as coping mechanisms during times of stress, change, or overwhelm.
Together, we’ll focus on understanding rather than fixing, reconnecting with the present moment, easing all-or-nothing thinking, and identifying small, supportive steps that can create a sense of movement. This session is about curiosity over urgency, self-compassion over self-criticism, and recognising that recovery doesn’t require having all the answers.
Join us for a thoughtful, grounding conversation about beginning again – gently, at your own pace, even when the path forward feels unclear. You’re not failing, and you don’t have to figure this out alone.
