Orri is a specialist eating disorder treatment service, offering expert day treatment and outpatient programmes designed to support long-term recovery.
Nurturing Hope is our free monthly space exploring eating disorder recovery through themes that meet people where they are.
The festive season can bring significant changes to everyday life. Routines shift, food may become a greater focus, social commitments increase and time with family or loved ones can bring its own pressures.
When the structures that usually support recovery become less predictable, it can be tempting to move into survival mode — focusing only on getting through the next meal, event or day.
But recovery doesn’t pause for the holidays.
In Recovery Through the Season, we’ll explore how to navigate December with greater flexibility and self-compassion. Together, we’ll consider how to protect recovery when routines change, manage difficult food and social situations, communicate boundaries and respond to setbacks without treating them as evidence that progress has been lost.
There is no requirement to enjoy every part of the festive season, and recovery does not need to look perfect for it to still be moving forward.
You don’t have to “just get through” December.
This session will be led by Kerrie Jones (she/her), CEO & Founder of Orri.
