Nuria is a Family & Systemic Psychotherapist at Orri, with over 19 years of experience working with families in the NHS and in private services. She practices therapy in English and Spanish.
Nuria is a warm and compassionate therapist. In her sessions, she works collaboratively to create a reflective space to enable family members to communicate and understand each other. Together, she helps you examine unhealthy patterns of behaviour, family dynamics, roles, relationships, and delve into underlying family beliefs that may be influencing the unity and interactions of family members.
Nuria has extensive experience in Eating Disorders throughout the years she has been working in mental health, but her passion developed when she started working in inpatient units. There, she became more specialised and decided to focus her career on helping others in their recovery journey. Her background includes working in CAMHS as well as offering specialised assessment and treatments in Inpatient Units. Her experience working with all age groups helps Nuria understand how mental health and Eating Disorders might be experienced and approached at different stages in the life cycle of a family.
