Katarina Ward,

Eating Disorders Associate

Katarina is an Eating Disorders Associate with a keen interest in the intersection of nutritional psychology and somatic therapy within the context of compassionate, client-led care. With a background in client coordination and her voluntary work at BEAT supporting young people with eating disorders, Katarina brings both practical experience and a heartfelt commitment to empowering individuals in recovery.

Through her MSc in Psychological Sciences and Level 5 Diploma in Advanced Nutrition, Katarina has deepened her understanding of how diet, mental health and behavioural psychology interact in the treatment of eating disorders. Her studies and training explored the role of nutrition in various health conditions, psychological drivers of change and inclusive approaches to care – all of which inform her person-centred support at Orri.

Katarina is deeply passionate about making eating disorder support more accessible and believes in each client’s capacity to reclaim ownership of their recovery. Outside of work, she enjoys running, skiing and travelling, and is specially interested in emerging research about the gut-brain axis, intuitive eating and the impact of social media on body-image.

At Orri, Katarina is valued for her warmth, professionalism and drive to continuously learn, grow and contribute meaningfully to a multidisciplinary team.
