Transitioning from home to university is a significant and often overwhelming experience for many people.

The sudden shift in social environment, coupled with the pressures of academic expectations and the need to establish new relationships, can create a perfect storm of stress and anxiety.

For some, this period of change can exacerbate or even trigger eating disorder symptoms, as they turn to disordered eating behaviors as a way to cope with the overwhelming emotions.

Coping with an eating disorder at university requires a multifaceted approach that includes professional help, support systems, and self-care strategies. By being proactive and seeking the right resources, you can navigate this challenging period while working towards recovery.

This webinar will cover:

  • The importance of routines and building healthy structure
  • Managing food as a student away from home
  • How families can support from afar
  • Q&A to answer your personal questions
