Katy Pey,

Psychotherapist

Katy is a qualified, BACP-registered Integrative Psychotherapist at Orri. She works across the outpatient and online services and supports clients in both 1:1 and group spaces.

Katy’s approach is person-centred and utilises different approaches such as psychodynamic, CBT and DBT. Acknowledging what works for one client may not work for another allows Katy to take into account the individual needs and circumstances of her clients and supports them in identifying, exploring and better coping with their difficulties.

Katy has a broad clinical experience across eating disorder services, psychiatric wards and primary and secondary special education settings. She began clinical work as an Animal Assisted Intervention Practitioner, supporting children and young adults therapeutically accompanied by a service dog. She then pursued a career in Integrative Psychotherapy supporting individuals with a range of psychological difficulties such as depression, anxiety, eating disorders, personality disorders, PTSD and self-harm/suicidal ideation. Katy has also worked with non-verbal clients or with SEN.

Passionate around providing an inclusive and safe space for neurodiverse individuals, Katy has previous clinical experience completing Autism assessments which enables her to support her clients through a neurodiverse and sensory lens.
