Lisa has been part of the Orri team since 2022. As an HCPC-registered Dramatherapist, she combines creative techniques with traditional talking therapy to offer a dynamic, person-centered approach to support her clients.
Her journey into therapy is shaped by her background as a theatre practitioner. After training as an actor at New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts, Lisa spent over 15 years working in theatre, television, film, and radio. She was also an acting teacher and director at several drama schools in London. Lisa then pursued a Master of Arts in Psychology at Roehampton University, specialising in Dramatherapy.
Her clinical experience includes working with NHS eating disorder services, providing individual therapy for mothers with young children through Home Start, and supporting students in primary and secondary schools.
Lisa’s approach is psychodynamic, imaginative, and embodied, creating a safe space for growth and exploration. Her work is grounded in empathy, cultural sensitivity, and playfulness.
